AIR Splitter Group Buy II
#22
Just to let you guys know, my buddy and I did it and got a better price, but the guy wanted to ship them both to the same address (he packs them in the same container, that's how he saves you the money). You might want to make sure he doesn't want to send them all to the same place for that price! One more thing, when I mounted mine, it was short of the wheel openings by a half inch or so. I had to add fiberglass to make it look like a factory part, and not a "ricer" add on. Later...........

I've heard about poor fitment regarding AIR from a few other listers. I hear the GT racing version is a high quality piece and usually requires very little prep work. Maybe we should look there.

When mine wasnt broken, it fit perfect-looked factory it was so spot on.
But now, Im looking at GTRacing, so if anyone wants to get a group buy going that way. Im in.
(Im repairing the AIR splitter and having it painted so I have both)

If this happens in mid-March I'm in. I won't have funds available until then but I really want one of those before the car goes into the paint booth.
I can't spend any more money until my house is sold and I get moved into my new one. I have an offer on the house now but it won't close until mid to late March.
If I miss out will one of you guys will sell me your old batwing?

Eyal, and anyone who wants to see pics of a black splitter on a black car. Check out one of my older threads on AIR splitters. I'll try and post some after work tonight if you want.
Very easy to install, fit good.

Sam - if you are going to replace it I would be interested in the old one.

Click the links below to see how the AIR spliiter looks on my car. Flat black painted splitter mounted on a DARK blue 951. I have no experience with doing bodywork at all, but I was able to paint and mount this thing in a matter of a few hours. Looks good enough for me. I was in on the orignial group buy last year.
Pic 1, passenger side front view
Pic 2, straight on close up
other pics of the car in the thread "new pics of new mods" . Also put a buch of other pictures in my filebox. You can see the splitter from a couple of different angles
