As I understand, our cars sufer alot for friction and heat (specially in the tranny). I have a product called Metallube thats supose to be a antifriction additive. Does this work in the tranny? I now their is one for the engine bay, and one for the tranny, What you do think, should I try it? Or should I stick to the Redline line?
Thanks

No, No, No, No, No.......Do not use any type of friction modifier (it's really for non-transaxle LSD's) in our transaxles. Most FM's are added to rear ends to quiet clutch chatter in LSD's. It is not synchro friendly. Stick to the Redline HD Shockproof or Amsoil. You can't go wrong with either. In my ahem...."Expert" opinion, the redline holds up a little better on the track and the Amsoil provides a lot smoother shifting around town.
