951 bellhousing confusion

Maybe this is clearer, there is an angle that I’ve marked with a black line on the picture of the housing below. With a straight edge on the starter mounting face up to that angle there is a 3.5mm difference to the bolt hole shown between the na and 951. The turbo housing measures 73.5mm, the na/s2 measures 70mm. It’s harder to describe than actilually measure, with a ruler there it falls naturally into the angle shown to measure accurately.
The turbo housing I measured is part 944.116.401.6R
Na was ....2R and another na I measured was ....5R

MAGK944 is spot on, was just on a call trying to explain this a couple days ago to Max, he understood completely by this - if you put a turbo bell housing on an NA, with one starter bolt on, you'd have to swing the starter past the 2nd bolt hole to engage the flywheel teeth.

Hi.
Confirmed that the housing I got with 944.116. 401.2R is a NA housing with 71mm between the 2 points MAGK944 displayed.
Thanks again!
