Thanks for the compliments. I've done almost 30 track days in the car over the last year and a half. Suspension, motor, safety stuff basically done now. Got my license sign-off in Sept. '03 and i'm looking to make my Club Racing debut at Summit Point(home track) in Aug '04. There are at least 4-5 other local guys on this board looking to do the same thing. . . most in "E" as well

Cage was done by Piper Motorsport here in No. Virginia. Mitch Piper and his guys are pretty much the best in the area.

Is that an "S"? If not what pushed you into E?

it is not a factory S, but it's been updated to run as one. K26/8, chips, bigger front calipers/rotors

still looking for a tranny

Sam,
cage ran ~ $1750 installed. mild steel, not chromoly

ok, 3rd pic, bar going from middle of rear diagonal forward to main hoop - what's its function?

There is one on each side. In a rear impact, it should serve to help keep the rear diagonal's from pinching down or pushing forward too much. Hope I never have to find out if it works

Love the cage. I hate cages that drop down by the dashboard and make it hard to get in and out. Besides cutting out the top of the dash to fit the bars though, did you have to loose anything else? Does the front part of the hoop go the the floor only, or is they tied into the sides of the car a bit?

Also, does the splitter replace what's known as the lower bumper cover? Whose splitter is it??

Again, great looking car!
