I need to replace my 2 fuel lines running to the damper and the FPR here in the near future. I don't really feel like shelling out 70 bucks for S/S hoses or 100 bucks for factory lines, So i am going to just buy some standard braided fuel hose and put them on as i don't see why this wouldn't work just as well. Does anyone know the size of the hoses? Thanks

Pauerman has a set of SS lines with completely threaded fittings on ALL ends, the last set you'll ever need, his are $150.
Otherwise, you don't need braided hose, due to the barbed hose clamp ends, any hose will eventually leak. Just get high pressure fuel line from your local auto parts store, I believe 3/8" ID.

Hi guys,
You can replace it with rubber and worry about it everytime you drive, you can go with stainless and worry about the clamps everytime you drive, or you can spend $20 more then the best kit and pick up Pauerman's set. Here's a few pics of them on my car.

Well the lines that are on there right now are 16 years old, plain rubber hoses with hose clamps on the ends and they don't leak, just are 16 year old rubber and starting to show their age, so i don't see why one would worry about them leaking. I worry more about a plane falling out of the sky and falling on my car every time i drive it.

Can you take a shot of what the connection at the FPR looks like? I'm running a 3 bar FPR and it has the barb nipple - are there any 3 bar FPR with a threaded connection? I heard the S2's might...can anyone confirm?

Here is a brief description of the kit I've put together:
The kit uses compression fitting adapters to connect onto the 8mm & 10mm hard lines. The connection to the hard lines is relocated into the wheel well area. AN style 37 deg. flared fittings attach to the adapters and reusable hose end fittings are used for all connections except for the FPR. Since the return line sees less pressure, a standard hose clamp remains for securing the line to the FPR. The metric reusable end fitting that connects to the damper has the proper "globe" style flare and bolts directly onto the damper. A simple pipe cutter and wrenchs is all that is required to install the kit. While providing a greater margin of safety, the kit looks great installed and really adds to the look of the your engine.
