I just finished my newest chips for the map upgrade looking for someone with a early 951 and a late 951 to try them out. I think this new chip will help with off idle hesitation. please email me. I will need your old chips and zone correction values to evaluate.

Mine's got a 27 and sfr catback with the map kit. Am I out? Otherwise I'd try em. Although I don't have a hesistation. I can rezero the box and I have a bad stumble, but I've been able to program mine out.

I have a 86' 951,
I don't yet have the MAP kit but it is on order, maybe 10-14 days to get here and a Tial on order as well...
If you want the test with the stock wastegate I don't have to put on the Tial just yet, but I have the stock turbo...just might be a while till the MAP comes, email me if I can help

Here's the solution that we've had for a long time. Apparently some of the MAP boxes were shipped out without the pre-programmed settings that badcoupe re-invented:
The 'resistor' that he's referring to is the RegionCodingPlug used to select between USA and ROW fuel-maps. In the GURU chips, all three regional fuel-maps are the same, so all you have to do is yank the O2-sensor to do open-loop mapping. I'm going to incorporate these changes into the next v9b MAP chips along with the 18psi full-load fuel settings.
18-dec-03 "Dan, Went out and checked out that wire and sure enough it was off must've got pulled loose squeezing everything under there. Car is running pretty good tonite had to scew a few things around but no biggie. Contrary to most people My car idles and comes off idle very well. I've heard of the stumbling issues but they don't seem to be present here. Thanks again for your info. later, "
8-jan-04 "Danno, Did a little playing around and research. I removed the resistior and installed a new O2 sensor as mine was always reding .9V. I rezeroed the box just to experiment a little. This is the first time I've ran the car on the "stock tuning" The hesitation is definately there. I added fuel at 100 105 110 200-210 and 300-310 to +3% and left everything else at 0. My stumble was instantly gone. This was with 0% everywhere else."
