968 door handle kit query
Hi all
Probably a very silly question but I just wanted to confirm that if I order a 968 door handle kit for my 944 that I can expect to reuse my existing barrels and therefore my existing keys will continue to work?
I was looking at the Lindsey Racing kit:
https://www.lindseyracing.com/LR/Parts/968DOOR.html
Thanks
Justin

Is this “upgrade” just for looks or are they mechanically better?
I prefer the squarer 80’s style of the script handles on a 944 than the rounded 90’s styling of the 968 handles and mirrors, but if they perform better and are less suseptible to breaking I might change my mind.

Thanks for the confirmation.
I appreciate the instructions. It's a bit more complicated than I first thought though.

I just like the updated look to be honest.
Your door scallops still get scuffed from fingernails - anybody know what happened to those shaped plastic inserts to stop this ?
