Single Port and Dual Port Wastegates?

Well as for 0-60 and 1/4 mile times I cant say for certain off the top of my head, however (I believe it was in 1989/90) there was an article in one of the big autmototive trade rags (I'm thnking it was R&T but I'm too lazy to look it up atm, but the article is often for sale on e-bay) ...anyhow, they did a comparo of the 930 and 951 in a test drive and at the end of the day, where it all comes together and really matters (on the road in real driving conditions) the 951 was hands down the better car. I seem to recall one of the end quotes in the article was something to the extent of, "...at the end of the drive, the 951 performed beautifully while the 930 was still miles behind dealing with the twisty bits.) in short the minimal power difference was significantly offset by the 951's far superior handling thanks to it's 51-49 weight distribution ratio.
I'm sure the article has floated around this site many times and if you look, you can find it.

I have an article that PCA released back it the day somewhere on the introduction and first impressions of the 88 951S. I will have to see if I can find it, it is very complimentary of the 951.

i remember reading that the fastest production car was the 951, but not for long. the ferrari testerosa beat it, and then when porsche turboed the 911, that car topped testoseronesa. that IS what i read whether accurate or not.
