hi all, I am embarassed to confess that my 3yr. old got into my car while the plastic face was pulled off the gauge assembly and yanked the little orange pointer things off of each and every one of the gauges. they were pretty faded out anyway, and i am aware that they have to be removed to replace the gauge faces. where can new ones be had, and is it a task that can be done at home, or is it best to use a speedo shop

There is a Speedo shop behind the Bank of America at Washington and Studemont area. I forget the name. The guy there is nice enough but he is going to rape you anally on the prices. Quick turn-around though.

I'd recommend you just snag a full set of gauges off eBay, if the needle pins got messed up, you won't be able to replace them easily, and a gauge cluster won't be more than $50-75 shipped.

You can also get cages for 3yr olds on ebay for about $60-$80.
They are very effective.
