[QUOTE]Red1 My car exists to give my jackstands something to do .

My 89 951 with 56k miles is usually driven only on the weekends and is allergic to rain . I occasionally take it to work on Fridays if the weather is good. I have had it for just over a year and put about 3k miles on her.

Daily driver and has been for past 9 years, I had a CRX when I bought the turbo but as I never drove the Honda,I finally got rid of it. It didn't make sense to pay insurance for a car that was parked all the time. The only time I drive something else is when I go out with the wife and kids, my wife hasn't ridden in it since our wedding reception (she says it's not comfortable). My daughters love it but it's too hard to put in two child seats, anytime I go out with my 4 year old she always wants to go in "daddy's car". Anyway I put about 200 miles a week on it and occasional trips to Pa. and Ga.

Well, if that's the case, then my car exists to empty my wallet.

Fast commute vehicle, 3 days per week, when it is either too wet or too cold to take the motorcycle- from Santa Cruz to San Francisco - 85 miles each way.

mine is daily, my only source of transportation, and its times like right now (oil cooler) where I almost regret (but I don't) that decision, these cars take dedication if your young.

Used for daily driver, and this Christmas break... transportation to Fort Worth, TX to visit my girlfriend, or Gainsville when we meet halfway. She has been bullet proof since Oct 2001 when I got her. *crosses fingers

Maybe bone stock helps eh?

My sentiments, exactly!! My wrench tells me they see my car more than I do...not quite.

My car has been a daily driver for the past 4 years - I've loved every bit of it. But, maintenance & repairs tend to get a little expensive with so much mileage. So I've just purchased a '92 Mercedes 300E. The Porsche will now see primarily weekend/backup car use.

I only drive mine late at night, with britney spears sitting shotty... and never with my eyes open ...i'm hoping to change that as of March (then maybe it'll be a weekend car... though I'm pretty sure I'll make it a daily joy-ride)
