Which ever you decide to do. Garrett do have dimentions on their site if you want to double or triple check.
mines on a modified stock mount with an adapter from ATP turbo

I cut my stock flange off, the remaining oil drain bore accepts a 1/2” NPT tap perfectly, once the bore is threaded you can screw any flange you want on it, you also have the ability to adjust turbo height via different length 1/2” pipe nipples. The angle of the turbo is also adjustable this way.

What did you use as a sealant for the pipe fitting to the mount?

I used loctite 542.

Very excited to see the boost and how numbers. I was looking at the g series turbos for my rebuild as well.
