Well I swapped out the injectors with the spare set. It was not the injectors. I'll look for the exhaust leak next. I would have never guessed that the noise could be an exhaust leak so I do appreciate the input.
On a side note, before putting in the injectors I used the article from Pelican Parts http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarti...ctor_clean.htm to clean them up. It made a noticable difference in the throttle response and smoothness.
