Default Radiator out the top...why?

I have the fans out, and from the looks of it all I need to do is unscrew a few things and it plops right out the bottom... Why does the factory say to take it out the top?

Is it OK to take it out the bottom? Is it as simple as it looks?

thanks,
Adrial

Mine came right out the bottom but I had everything out. It also went back in the top just fine (too lazy to lay on the cold floor).

If I remember correctly it's very tight from the bottom due to an oil line that gets in the way.

Mine came out the bottom. The driver side bracket can be a bitch but a good pry bar, no problem. If you bend the bottom left bracket, don't worry, you can bend it back.
