New year, new look, new plans.
Last year I resurrected my 951 from her long period of disuse and took her back to the track with two thoughts in mind. 1) fix the remaining known issues. 2) Explore the viability of racing (a bucket list goal for me).
It was a pretty interesting and busy year with much time in the garage and 15 days or so at the track, including driving Bathurst which happened to be a bucket list drive.
By the end of the year I knew I had secured sponsorship and gotten myself into a position to move into racing albeit with the need to upgrade in a few areas before the season starts.
So now my yellow 951 is yellow no more. I've just had her wrapped and over the next 6 weeks she'll be to and from the track as I incrementally Install a few things and work on the setup.
Next job ... fabricate mounts for this to comply with CAMS regulations.

Awesome, good luck!
You, your previous websites and your car have been an inspiration of mine for many years.
And, after recently visiting your latest website I learned something new and fairly obvious about you. Funny how the internet can hide the details.
Keep us posted with the updates and your next chapter.
Car sure has come a long way from the white/sky blue color scheme...

Wicked looking machine.Great choice on the Enkeis too BTW, they're beautiful. Looking to score myself a set this season.
Two questions: What brake rotors and control arms are those in the picture?

Thanks all. Yeah I'm pleased with the Enkeis (thanks for the tip Sean). The control arms are fabcar. The rotors are Girodisc (993 TT).
Re cockpit .. pic attached.
Re wing mounts... I just finished a template to handover to a CAD parts draftsman so I can have CAD files to edit and give to a water/laser cutting outfit.

That wing hardware looks stellar. Can't wait to see it on...That wing is beautiful.
Thanks for the interior photo. Very impressed with the level of quality wiring.
Keep up the good work mate!

Making progress with the Wing uprights, I've now got templates and CAD files for the fabricator to prototype the parts. The prototypes will be machined next week. I ran the car on track with 295/265s a few days ago and that combination worked well with no clearance issues and no rubbing with the extra brake cooling setup I'd just installed.
After 5 or 6 iterations of MDF templates I have engaged a CAD team to create the CAD files needed for fabrication.
I've installed the brake cooling ducts and hose to work with the 968 brake cooling scoops I already had on the car and judging by the increased amount of brake dust on the wheels after the subsequent track day, this arrangement is flowing more air through the wheel.

The translation into a CAD file worked well. The template proved accurate after a test cut so I had the uprights laser cut from plate aluminium and fitted them to the car tonight. I'm really happy with how solid everything feels, even before I added the brace struts.
