Default 951 trunklid badge

OK, some faculty member, who i can never seem to find by his/her car, has a "951" trunklid badge replacing the stock "turbo" badge.. does anyone know where i can find one of these? I did a quick google on it but didn't seem to turn up anything.

Well, considering Johns car is on the west coast, and FSAEracer03 is on the east, I highly doubt it. But if John anderson has one, he probably sells them since he owns a good shop in san diego. His website should be up soon, just pm him or something.

I used to cut them out of 1/4" aluminum. It was just a long job to get them done. Each one hand cut, and even the slightest flaw meant throwing it away and starting new. After cutting them, I polished them. That was years ago, I can't believe it has been brought up again :-) Maybe I'll goof around and make a couple..I just need time, but I have better equipment which might speed it up a bit.

Take Care!

John, if that was one of yours that I saw... then i'm also guessing that the owner (or previous owner) of the car it's on must be a fellow Rennlister as well. I'm going back to school, and i'm going to track this guy down and talk to him. If worse comes to worse, I'm putting a note on his damn windshield ...anyways, I'm getting to the bottom of this story!! lol

And please, if you do consider making any more of these, remember there will be plenty Rennlisters happy to purchase however many ya make... me being the first if possible ...and if it was one of yours, bravo! it's beautiful work!!

cheers!

Hey John,

do you have any photos of the badges you made?? i'm back on campus and can't seem to track down that 951 to see where he got his yet... by the way... think of making more, you and i both know there will be a few dozen Rennlisters willing to support you and buy 'em

I have always wanted something like this, OR, the "Cup" badge from the Euro 944 Turbo Cup cars- I believe I have seen two styles- one I definately have a pic of, but gave up trying to post pics here a long time ago- if anyone wants it, let me know & I'll e-mail to them & they can post- it has the regular "Turbo" in black, & just to the right, it says "Cup" in red... I'm pretty sure that some of them had only the word "Cup" in black, too, but, am not positive....
