Apexi S-AFC
Will this work well on our cars. My car is a 86 944 Turbo. I contacted the guy at apexi and he said that it should work but he wasn't sure about our voltage. He told me to make sure by asking someone that knows alot about porsches so i came here. Is there any other known problems with this product on our cars.
Thanks in advance

It works fine on our cars, IMO the best EBC period. The only known "problem" is the RPM pulse settings don't match up to our stock ones so it'll never read RPM right. Doesn't matter for the EBC's function, it'll still do gear and rpm based boost, just on its own scale.

Oops, sorry - I haven't seen anything that would prevent a SAFC from working on our cars, it's one of 4 possibilities I'm looking at for MAF tuning.

Yes, what's the problem?
I have the issue of that magazine. I subscribed for some years but I went tired of a single make magazine. Yes I would like to read about Porsches all the time but I want them to be compared with Ferraris, Lotuses etc.. 911 & Porsche world denies that there is anything else on the streets.
Besides, the Tech articles are very shallow when it comes to anything related to electronic control systems.

I really like the AFC II, it has more data points, knock sensor input and somehow determines fuel needs with air flow meter voltage and TPS position instead of just AFM voltage. I have read through the install guides and the manual, the only thing I cant determine is which 'flap' sensor parameters to use, there are several to choose from.
