A belated thanks for the pic. That's pretty much what I had in mind for the hood pins. I also remember your saying awhile back that you removed your front bumper bar to make room for the intercooler. I've done the same thing, but not for an intercooler - just to save weight, and I built a tow hook mount in the same place you have yours.

I had a good year of racing (16 races) and the LS keeps impressing me with its reliability and easy horsepower. Just turn the key and go. I think next year I'll move to a different class and un-restrict the engine and add some power. Then I will probably start breaking some things.

This year the only engine related issues were a shredded accessory belt, a cut alternator cable, a failed exhaust header gasket and a broken throttle cable. Pretty minor stuff. The 951 engine was fun but this is way easier.
