Default Gear shifter issue

When I let off the gas in gear the shifter jumps laterally to the left and when I step on the gas it jumps back to the right. I believe it is a tranny mount issue. I have a Xschop semi solid mount.

What could be causing this?

Normally, installing a semisolid tranny mount would solve, or at least reduce this sort of behavior. I filled my tranny mount with polyurethane and it solved the tranny twisting I was experiencing under load (was blowing out CV joints). Maybe your mount came loose?

Yep!

The know it all mechanic who installed the semi-solid mount did not tighten the nuts properly!

All good now.
