Default 962 Type Wastegate???

Does anyone know how the 962 Type Wastgate preforms in the 944T? It says that the 962 is a "bolt-on" for 930/C2 Turbos, Aerospeed quality and design. Fits 944T. Superior reaction time.

Anyone know of this wastegate or are running it???

Thanks

Don't 924 turbos use the same wastegate as those in a 930? They look like the Tial 46mm with a rough housing...

I found the add for it in the October 2000 issue of Excellence. It claimed better response. I was just wondering if anyone is running with this wastegate or has any info on it.

Thanks

I don't know but it probably cost more than a tial 38mm and is probably an inferior wastegate. So it seems to be a mute point. But this is also speculation, abet probably accurate specualtion.

I heard they were baddazz. Do a earch on the turbo forum(951) there was talk on there. I found a place that sells them, supposedly a bolt on. I think they run about 750 bucks? I have an Audi 5000 WG that I'm probably going to run. I also have a Deltagate Mark II that makes me nervous as hell. I'll probably not run the Delta, too many bad stories! The Audi gate is similar to the 951, but has a turned outlet. The bodies may be interchangable tho. The Audi is rebuildable and you can get springs for around 50 bucks and diaphrams for 40. Good Luck, think I'm one of the first to try the Audi there has been plenty of talk tho.

I almost got the Audi 5K one also, but could never get a definative answer as how compatible they were to our cars so I went with the GURU wastegate.

You can get a nice WG from SFR for an excellent price. My 38mm TiAl was 299 or so. You cant beat that, period.
