Default M-tune question for 3.0L

After a two year misadventure I have a 3.0 in the car and am going to be starting it up this week.

My engine previously was a 2.5 stock block tuned using the M-tune MAF which worked great. I have the DME tuner.

Anyone know if the stroker tune on the Roguetuning website should work? I'm guessing yes but wanted some confirmation as I don't want to lose two years of work. I have emailed Josh who has been good / helpful over the years with a good product for our little community and I'm sure he'll reply in due time. I have a ported 8v head and stock intake with a big exhaust. Turbo is a custom K27/8. Boost to be 15psi on gas.

Thanks

Its been awhile but I think that it what I did and it was running rich for me. Ultimately, I just loaded the 2.5 and took it to a local shop and he tuned it "safe" for mostly track use. I run 14.-15 psi boost and make right around 350 WHP It may have been running rich due to running stock exhaust with a 3-inch cat back. That was way too much back pressure so it has all been upgraded.

my two cents. Goodl luck, I had similar adventure...took me about another year to get the 3.0 completely sorted but car runs great now.

I've never used the m-tune, so can't say for sure, but for start up and low loads it "should" work ok, since the fuel should be metered based on the amount of air going through the MAF (and timing will be "good enough"). I can tell you I started my 3 liter using the Vitesse MAF/chipboard, using the same map I had previously run on the 2.5 motor. It started up and drove around town perfectly fine. That said, I wouldn't go WOT unless/until you tune it for your motor!

I had The M tune with my 2.5 and when I did my 2.83 hybrid stroker build Rogue said I needed a new chip.

Stroker tune should be fine for startup.
