Hi there.

my 1987.5 944 Turbo has the following wires under the dash. While they look factory and are wrapped in the factory cloth I am not so sure as to what they are. Additionally one of them appears to be snipped at the end as shown.

dows anyone have any thoughts on what wires these are?

Would need a little more info, Brown Is obviously a Ground Wire, and for the Size of it, looks like it ran something Stout... Id Start with the Red Wire and ohm it out to the Fuse box, Find what might be associated with it so to speak, and then look at a schematic.. Does everything Work on the car?

Looks aftermarket to me.

Did or does the car have an aftermarket alarm system. I pulled out the aftermarket alarm out of the RAGE2 car and it has something that looks like that.

I have not had time to crawl under the dash but when I get back into that location I can see what I find. I need to trace out the wiring in that area anyway and will post results.
