Gang, I'm in the process of rearranging my 951 collection. I'm considering selling an '88 (non S) LSD + oil cooler gear box. It just rolled over 140k miles.

If I sell it I will then need to buy a non LSD plain Jane gearbox to put back in my car, so partial trade considered.

What's fair? My goal is to reduce my cost basis in the car. I'm probably selling the Fuchs next and downgrading to phone dials. So it's gotta be enough to do that, pay for shipping, and buy a replacement.

I've got a set of newly refinished phone dials I'll trade you for the gearbox. See my sig for a pic. You could then sell your wheels and use that money to buy a used gearbox. The wheels are all 8x16 with late offsets. PM me if interested.

No thanks, a set of phone dials that wouldn't fit would hardly do me any good. It'd be like running a wild goose chase trying to swap into the stuff I need and I'd probably end up loosing money once everything netted out.

I guess I don't understand what your doing with your cars. Are you parting the 88 and keeping the 86?

Nope, sorry for the unclarity. The dials I need are for the the '86 and the non lsd gearbox I end up will be for it too. The '88 is the keeper. Btw, I've also got a set of late dials I could sale too, to bad there not early dials eh?
