Ok, Hmmmm Would it be ok to make the IC pipes from ally, instead of SS? Thinking of weight savings, but dont want to sacrifice with hotter air. Not sure about the properties of each metal in this application.

NZ951, I think you are taking a risk here letting someone do something which they have never done before. The 27/6 7200 is the stock turbo for the 964 Porsche turbo. The only difference is the middle section which is also water cooled for the 951. If they don't know what a 7200 is, I would run away as fast as I can.

They are the kkk importers/repairers! I am boned. They said you can only get the 7200 K27 from Porsche only, ****. So does the k27 cold side and compressor wheel just bolt on the the 6 hotside? I need process info to battle kkk!

Can you keep the middle water/oil cooled section of the k26 in the hybrid state? I think I need to read a book on turbos.

Yes, although you need a modifed water "Y" on the left (as seen from standing in front of the car) to clear the larger compressor housing.

The center section is exactly as it is now.

NZ951 - if you aren't getting any joy locally, a suggestion would be Steve Murch at Motorsport Engineering in AK

Yeah, Steve is on to it. I tried the KKK importers. Did not seem helpful with my project though, does Steve work with kkk's? And my type of project to your knowledge?
