Default Help needed quick

I'm removing the intake to replace hoses and the dipstick tube has no seal at the bottom where it goes into the block. Its just a loose slip fit.
Is this normal??? Should I seal it with a bit of silicone?
Thanks

Frank, with your mods list I would expect high hp results. You have a MAF and only making about 5-10 more hp/tq then just with chips.

There should be an "O" ring seal in there.

Make sure that when you pulled the dip stick tube, you didn't leave the "O" ring in there.

The trick, is getting the right "O" ring.

I would not use a sealer. First off, you are not able to get the dip stick hole clean enough with the pan on the car to use any sealer. Secondly, if it breaks apart, it will go into the oil pan.

Get the proper "O" ring.
