Default 944S with 100k miles - what maintenance is due?

Other than timing belt and clutch, what maintenance would you recommend for a 944S (16v) with 100k miles on it?

I have heard from a friend to consider changing a tensioner guide..? What's involved with that? Simple DIY or big $$$ job?

Head rebuild necessary? What will that cost?

What about rod bearings? I have seen some random posts on here regarding one of the bearings being a common point of failure..?

Thanks guys!!

Rod bearings, clutch, head should all be in perfect shape at 100k miles if the car has been kept up.
Don't need to touch those things until they really wear out...not "just because" unless you have the engine out of the car already.

Change the plastic pads that are on the camshaft chain tensioner (under the valve cover) and the timing/balance belts/water pump for good measure and check back with us at 200k.
