Default Vibration problem??

Hi guys and gals..!

im after some knowledge on a vibrating issue that my 87 NA 944 has.

at certain stages of revs e.g. 1500rpm & 4000 rpm i get feedback through the steering wheel making an awful sounding vibrating noise.

i researched this on the net the other day, and read up about the balance belts and how they can miss align. so i spent all of this morning checking and one of the teeth on the lower balance pulley was out. so i corrected this n put the car back together again hoping this will have solved the problem!

but sadly no i start to drive it home an dthe vibration is still there.

can anyone suggest anythin to try?

thanks in advance!

scott
