Used Transmission Sources

Hello. I need to replace the automatic transmission in my 1988 944 (base).

Any suggestions of sources for complete used transmissions in the vicinity of Northern Virginia?

google the following names/words:

Plyhammer's parts

these folks are in VA/MD/OH and part out 944s and might have what you need.
