Late AC in Early Car
I have a 85/1 944 (not sure if my signature has been updated) but i finally decided to go to 134a on AC. SO i pulled the AC out and based on the info on it I ended up getting a great deal on the compressor. Turns out that the AMAZON compressor I ordered is for a Late (85/2-89) car. the compressor was disconnected when I got it and the lines are capped off zip tied to the frame. My previous 944 never had a working AC so I never really delt with this.
So my questions, do I return or is there a simple way to get this guy I purchased on the early car. What exactly is difference between them? It seems to have bolted up just fine anyway to get it to work?

I see, that explains why the hoses were never connected to this unit. once completed this weekend I'll post Pics and any variances I encounter - for future reference should anyone have a similar issue. Thanks again.
