1986 944 radiator for automatic
Hello, I am new to this site.
I recently inherited a 1986 944 automatic from my brother. It has a cracked radiator, which is not repairable.
Does anybody have a radiator for an automatic that they are looking to sell?
Another option I was thinking is that I currently have a new radiator for a manual transmission, which does not have the oil cooler lines for the tranny.
Has anyone use a manual radiator on an automatic and installed an oil cooler for the tranny?
Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you.

The trans oil cooler lines are low pressure so you could run an external cooler for it.
The cooler in the radiator mostly helps it warm up when starting the car.
You could also have a good rad shop transfer your cooler end tank onto the 5 speed rad.
Best thing to do would buy a new rad but with them being ~$600 I can see why you wouldn't want to.
