Default 86 na questions

I am sure these have all been asked before but I didn't see a way to only search the 944 area only.

what oil is everyone running ?

anyone know of anywhere other then ebay to buy a air intake filter box?

has anyone used one of those performance chips ?

anyone know where to find odds and ends for interior bits ? Pelican parts is selling the air temp sensor cover for $17.50 for a piece of plastic about the size of a quarter.

what is the most cost effective way to get a bump in power?

oil: 20W50 of whatever brand you want

there are several folks around the country who part out 944s - lart in L.A., plyhammer in Ohio, JoshB in GA, Ken in MD, among others. try plyhammersparts.com

chips aren't worth it. instead, save up and buy the NA-tune MAF conversion from Lindsey Racing. SO worth it, i ran this for 3 years. (https://www.lindseyracing.com/LR/Parts/944NATUNE.html)

check the part-out folks above for interior stuff.

absolute most cost effective power bump (https://928motorsports.com/parts/off...aft_keyset.php), you install it on your camshaft drive gear and advance the camshaft 4 degrees, a HUGE bump in all around responsiveness/acceleration.
be sure to get one of these too...no power gain but makes the car 50x more responsive and fun to drive. (https://www.ebay.com/itm/Only944-Por...4383.l4275.c10)
