Default Thermos switch wires? 85 844

Hi gang, I have put a reconditioned engine in my 85 auto purchased 6 months ago. Cam belt snap in old motor. There were no wiree to the thermostat sensor to the dash so does anyone know the colour and where they feed out from?

And its in! 👍

Do you see that blue, 2-wire, sensor in the middle of your photo? That's the DME temp sensor. About 3" closer to the firewall, between cyl 1 and cyl 2, you should see the other 2-wire temp sender that provides the signal to the gauge cluster.

If you kept your original wiring harness, you should find a dangling connector somewhere in that vicinity.
