Default 1984 Porsche 944 flywheel

Hey Guys,

Im replacing my clutch so i figured i would get a rear main seal and a new flywheel while everything is apart.

Does anyone have any links/recommendations on the ones out on the market?

Ive seen the light weight aluminum ones and the normal steel ones. The main two arre spec and fidanzza.

Has anyone had any experience with either?
Is the light weight worth it?

Thanks,

What are you planning to do with your car...street, autocross, or race?

For a track car...LWFW is probably worth it [pending your skill set].

For the street...not so much. On the street, the heavier rotating mass of the OE flywheel is your friend. YMMV...

I have used the lightweight Fidenza on the street for at least 7 years with no problems.
