i am in love with how this car looks and sounds awsome.. i am thinking of buying one from a 84 to 88 and have about a 3500 buget. im not going to buy one right now but looking for info. if i could fund a nice one that someone has laying around with low miles i will buy one. my ? is how well to they stay together if they have been and will be taken care of? also how much for insurance

There have been a couple threads on this lately as well.
Bottomline is how much money do you have for maintence? Better be $2k for the first year if you plan to have some else do the work. You can get away with much less if you do it yourself however, but will still need $1k.

Call your insurance agent... It will depend on your age, driving record, location, if you have multiple vehicles and/or renters/home owner coverage through the same company. Is this car an additional purchase? Or, would this be your only means of transportation?
