Default Help! 944 Engine resources

I have an 87 n/a 944. Can anyone point out resources like books, website, CD, etc.. That I can learn more about these engines in relation to how it works and how to do repairs.. Thanks!

try alldata, there a pay site, but info is more about the us spec cars

try and get a workshop manual

haynes is not too bad, but leaves a lot of stuff out

I am a bit disappointed about the Haynes manuals.. as they leave out a whole lot - sometimes stating "should be done by an authorized <insert car make here> shop".
Factory repair manuals are available for many cars, but for my previous Mercedes they were about 300 USD for a copy.
