Factory Colors
Sorry, its me again. What are the different colors the 944 came with?
I am aware of Red, White, and Black. Then there are the metallic ones. The 87 I am soon getting is a mettalic brown/gold/beige?? Does anyone know the official term Porsche named the colors?

wooo,
a bit difficult,
I "think" especially the rpice of when new, you could specify anyothing over the factory base colours. as long as you could pay for it.
the car your getting will have a paint code (usually on a sticker on the back) always in the drivers g/tee maint. book.
it will have a colour code, eg LM3a
which for me is Guards Red, also called Indian red, official posrce name is "Indishrot" indian red.
check the colour code and it will tell you what it is called.
also, a colour is called other things, eg, a friends car looks virtuially silver, but offically is a mettalic brown !
