Default 1989 rear hatch key switch inop

rear hatch releases normally from switch at driver compartment, but not at key switch at the back of car, checked the rear hatch micro switch at the connector, i have continuity between the white/brown wires (and they go to ground) when micro switch is pressed (key is turned), so i know the micro switch is good, but there is no power on the red/blue wire at the connector, (harness side) where does that red/blue wire get its power source from? where is the next place i should look?

havent look into it lately but the power supply comes from the alarm relay passenger side kick panel, found in the electrical schematic manual i bought, thats and issue lower on the list to fix but maybe we have a faulty alam relay module

The micro switch is a common culprit.
