Hey I have a 1984 944. The air conditioner has been working great for years, but just last week it gave out. I had driven it that day and it was fine as normal, but then my brother drove it a few hours later and it completely gave out.
When I turn the **** to start it nothing happens. The condenser fans don't turn on and the fan in the cabin doesn't turn on either. It just happened all of a sudden. I checked the fuses in the driver foot well and they were all good. Is there any other electrical wiring that could have given out causing the entire system to fail? I think this should be a simple fix.
And yes I did do a search of existing topics, but none of them described a complete system failure that sounds characteristic of a simple wiring/fuse issue.
