I have an '84 944 NA that has been upgraded with later model 944 turbo running gear. The turbo gear with turbo brakes does not allow for a mechanical speedo drive to the front wheel. I still have the original tranny so I can't use an electronic speedo. Any ideas for conversions or mods.

Take the left front spindle to a machine shop and have it drilled out, and have a square hole punched in the bearing dust cap.
