Post 944S2 How much HP?

How much HP can you get out of a slightly modified S2. I know this is an a really open ended question. Lets say keep the mods to bolt ons and no internal engine mods. Example, Headers, Exahust, Chip, No Cat.

Say that would make 250hp? (Just a guess porbably totaly wrong) How would this seam compaired to a 951? Would you have a lot more low end torque?

Each of the things you mentioned will get you a few HP here and there but there's no way you'll get to 250 HP.

Here are some S2 dyno results, both stock and modified:

With bolt ons only you will see at best 10 - 15 horsepower at the wheels.

Currently my car is with Speed Force Racing in Southern California. SFR is increasing the boost to 8psi, installing larger valves, and converting my MAF system to a MAP system. I live near Chevy's on the River just north of downtown. As soon as my car is done I'll let you know and we can take it out for a drive.

Take a look at the pics of both (the cabrio is turning into a true hi-fi ride as we speak of being heavily modified in audio part at a local shop...)

Sweet looking car and sound system. As soon as I am satisfied with the performance of my S2 I will begin the cars cosmetics upgrades and stereo system. I currently have the Blaupunkt Munchen RDM 169 deck, 3 Blaupunkt PA275 class T amps, 2 Blaupunkt PCwi1000 10" woofers, and 4 PCxi462 4"x6" speakers in my house waiting to be installed.

Packing over 3300 watts of power and 13 channels, this must be the loudest cabrio around (it should be all finished next week), LOL... If you ever really want to upgrade, I have the deck and changer from the pics available (the deck is Blaupunkt San Francisco and Blaupunkt in dash 5 CD) (I switched to Pioneer HU and CD changer). You can check mine out when it is all done (6,4 and 2 sets of tweeters up front and 8 and 4 in the rear side panels plust 2 12s...)
