'83 944 Intake Valve Noise?!
Hi,
944 Newbie here. Just picked up an '83 944. Previous owner showed me receipts for timing belt, water pump, tune up about 5K ago (now has 118K) I just noticed that the intake valves (2&3) are really loud. Is this common? My Dad used to say "If you can hear the valves, they are working..." Anyway, should I be concerned?

P.S. I cannot believe it, I put my new Infiniti in the driveway and my 20 year old 944 in the garage in its place... Somehow seems the proper thing to do. Am I nuts?!
