have recently purchased a 91 s2 but have noticed that when starting the engine from hot the revs seam to hesitate around 900-1100 rpm and any encouragement that is given via the throttle causes the engine to stall. What could be causing this? i know that the exhaust has been changed so perhaps the catyliser has been removed? Also the carpet on the passenger side of the car has been taken up at some point could this have been to upgrade the chip that you guys keep talking about???
Also the car didnt come with an owners handbook (well it did, but at some stage it had been glued together and was rock hard!!!) so does any1 have any ideas where i could purchase/ download one if thats even possible??!!
I don't have much knowledge of this car yet (or any thing that technical i'll leave that to the mechanics!!) and any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks guys! jamie
