Post Hot Shift problem

Hey guys. We've all heard about the hot start. But I'm having a problem with "hot shifting". Example: I go to school in Orlando, and commute home to Ft. Lauderdale for every Dolphins home game. I'll drive 2.5 hours on the highway, and upon getting off to do about 5 miles of suburban driving, shifting is incredibly hard with the respect to actually getting it into the gear. Any ideas what causes this??

When was the last time the transmission fluid was changed? It could be as simple as the gear oil is old. <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />

if after checking and changing the tranny oil for the "correct" fluid.

You could be looking at the first stages of a new clutch !

Jack back up, remove inspection plate where transaxel and torque tube meet. stick yiour hand in and wiglle the driveshaft. If it clucks start saving !
