Talking 2.5 engine mods

I have a 1986 2.5 944 Lux and I would like to squeeze a bit more BHP. Is this poss ? If so, how? Also what is the best way to go about lowering the 944 as I feel it could hold the road a little better.

Cheap, easy & fast... Put in a K&N air filter, Bosch Platinum 4+ plugs, Injection cleaner, fuel filter, Bursch Cat-back Exhaust & run 93 Octane. Difference was minimal but definately noticeable in my stock early 85. Cost of above, @$350. Toy with it too much and you invite major malfunction. Selling & buying a turbo model is the only safe way to "get there quicker". Enjoy!!

You can drop the 944 abou 3/4 of an inch in the rear by simply adjusting a bolt. Check www.paragon-products.com for the tech article about it.

As far as HP goes, you're not going to be able to get the much with out turbo/supercharging it, but you can get some gains, like the ones mentioned above, and also get a chip for your DME.
