does anyone know or tried to use a 924 turbo hood to replace the stock 944 hood? i am running an inhaler kit and was wondering if the 924 turbo hood scoop would help her breathe even better.

they look like they would fit. any ideas? i imagine a 944 w/ a 924 turbo hood would look pretty much like the 924 GT carrera.

unfortunately, I dont beleive it fits.

the 924 turbo had a naca duct and the carrera cars had a scoop I beleive ?!?!?

 

Luke - it does fit. The fender and front bumper radius differences are compensated for by the nose panel. By the way, Luke - have you driven an sc?

 

it should fit, the air scoop i know is on the wrong side for a 951. It could help on a 944, i doubt it would do anything real impressive though. more looks than anything i would imagine

 

The hood will fit as others have said but be aware that the 924 hood doesn't have the tabs to mount the hood shocks. Carry a stick ! 8^} Also, there is an aftermarket hood scoop for 944's that mounts just up from the lower left corner of the hood so as to be in alignment with the air filter box. What I really like is the vented nose panel that a 924 turbo uses. It would definitely let more outside air into the engine compartment.
