one time i drove home from orlando, about 160 miles or so, then went to go shopping, and my car died halfway down the street. i pushed it home and the next morning it fired right up. WELL, i went to a moms day autocross in palm bay, about 80 miles or so up the road, go there did 6 good solid runs of about 40-45 sec each, and then drove to the gas station to fill up for home. i got gas, went to start, and NO START!!!! AHHH at this point i'm pissed... stuck 80 miles from home with an inop car, i have extra fuel pump with me in case, i suspected that it may be bound up. i am hesitant to change however, because thats alot of frigging work and i'm not sure its the problem, i think its the DME or DME/Fuel pump relay. so i have it towed home, and $40 later i am free to try replacing parts. i try the computer first. STILL NO START!!!! about to cry now, i get my spare DME relay, put it in (after reconnecting the original computer which is good) and the stinkin car starts right up... ok so $16 bucks from Ian's in Pompano Beach FL (note shameless plugging), and i'm good to go again. problem solved!
