Smile Catz Zeta Headlight System

Has anyone had any experience with the Catz Zeta Headlight system? Or the Galaxy White bulbs by the same company? Any feedback relating to this would be great.

We had a thread on that Catz Zeta System a few months back on one of the 944 boards. It is basically a scam, I even called and talked to one of their "engineers" to confirm. It is trying to get around the poor stock wiring of many cars without an actual headlight rewire. Smoke and mirrors.

I ended up building a headlight rewiring kit that will blow your socks off and have sold it to a few Rennlisters. If there is enough interest, I am doing a second run of about a half dozen units.

The first few wiring kits should be installed anytime now .... look for postings on the main 924/944/951/968 board. Ribs and Strayer are going to take pictures and post actual voltage numbers. They are going to be tossing off tons of light as this is the real deal not a con job like Catz or PIAA.

Headlight bulbs are another scam item. Stick with the quality manufacturers like Phillips/Narva and Osram/Sylvania. I've sold about 100 Phillips/Narva bulbs to just the Rennlist crowd and not one word of complaint but many of joy. Usually there is at least one person that wants to complain just to hear their own voice, but none so far. Knock on wood. <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />

Sylvania now has HID replacement system available for 944's. Kit includes all ballasts, wiring, etc. and is priced at $799 locally. Surprise the Litronic cars!
