odometer question

Default odometer question

so far i have changed the sensor on the trans and the odometer gear. the speedo works. do i assume not the odometer motor is stuck or bad? what else do i need to check for functionality? many thanks for any advise

There is a plastic gear that is notorious for breaking. Yours seems to have that problem.

if you are referring to the odometer one inside the speedo assembly, i have changed taht one already as it was bad

My gear was bad as well. after replacing still had the same problem. What I found was the gears were miss aligned. I had to make a nylon washer to fit between the gears to keep pressure on the worm gear. Has worked ever since.
