Cluster swap for rotrex build?
I am gathering the parts to supercharge my S2 and will be using a rotrex blower like Eric below. I have an instrument cluster from a 951 and was wondering how easy it would be to swap it into the S2, it would be cool to have the boost gauge in its proper place.

Wow, it looks like there may be a couple of other s2 sc builds over the next year. Let me know if you need any advice - happy to help if i can.
I have investigated the 951 boost gauge but it requires the board of the 951 KLR to drive it. It is not terribly accurate anyway. I'm going to run a SPA digital boost gauge under the stereo.

I like the idea of keeping a clean factory look and using the a factory boost gauge but, as Eric pointed out, its driven by the KLR and is not easily adapted to read from a different signal. (honestly, I don't know if anyone has been able to get it to function off of anything other than the KLR)
I have a 951 that runs a stand alone EMS, and instead of having a inoperable boost gauge, I swapped my cluster out for one from a 968.

I might try sending the cluster off to Speedy Cables, they did my E36 cluster for me when I dropped an LS3 into it (Converted the tach to 8 cylinder and altered the oil temp gauge to work with the GM sensor) I'll let you know how I get on.
