Default LOGICAM 944 camshaft timing

Has anyone heard of, or seen the "LOGICAM" device for adjusting the camshaft timing on an eight valve 944? I'm going through a used engine I bought for my track car and it has such an apparatus on the camshaft sprocket. I can't find anything about it on the internet!

Not sure about LOGICAM; but there are various Adjustable Cam Gear which allows you to Advance or Retard Cam Timing a few degrees. Doing so moves the Engine Power Band Up or Down slightly...

Here is a Link to Lindsey Racing's Version

They have a brief description about uses, you may find interesting.
