Does anyone have experience/opinions on Swepco 201 vs Mobil 1 or Redline? It sounds like the 915 transmission needs it. What about the transmission on an S2?

 

I put in redline recently because my s2 was grinding at times going into second gear and it fixed it rignt up. My fluid had not been changed in at least 8 years. I was surprised at the over all difference In the shifting. I would have put in swepco but could not locate it locally. You can get it by mail from paragon I later found out.

 

I used Castrol full synthetic and that has made a huge difference to the shifting.

 

I've ended up with this same issue. 88na with 121k. my 86 with 140k didnt do it. It only does it from 1-2 and not from 3 4 or 5 down to 2. is there a synchro each direction for number 2?
